Steering committee

Steering committee members are elected by conference participants each year at the open steering committee meeting held during ICPC. Members serve three-year terms and may not serve more than two consecutive terms.

All members are public points of contact for ICPC. Reach the whole committee at moc.spuorgelgoog@cs-cpci. The committee's duties and election rules are set out in the steering committee charter.

Permanent member

Václav Rajlich, Wayne State University, USA (1934–2020) was voted a permanent member at IWPC 2002 in recognition of his efforts in establishing IWPC/ICPC as one of the premier venues in the area of program comprehension. He founded the series in 1992; read his memoir of its beginnings and the ICPC 2021 tribute. The Václav Rajlich Early Career Achievement Award is named in his honor.
